Versa firmware 3.0.14 fails to update

Is your Versa currently using firmware 3.0.14? Is it failing to update?

 

Let the Fitbit support know in this thread that you are having the same problem and that no it is not the phone you are using, no it is not the wifi you are using, the only common factor is the Versa firmware 3.0.14 and the latest Fitbit app.

 

My devices: LG Q6 (phone) and LG v20 (phone) and Samsung Galaxy TabA (tablet)

Network: Home wifi, work wifi, phone hotspot

App: Android Version 2.77

The point is to list the devices you have used and where you used them to demonstrate that it is an issue with the firmware.

My devices: iPhone 7 and X

Network: Home wifi, neighbour's wifi, phone hotspot

iOS 11.4.1 on both phones

 

After trying all the suggested solutions on this forum, I returned the watch to the shop, got a new one (same model) and this one is working without problems.

My Versa is and has been failing to update the firmware.  I've tried on wi-fi and blue tooth on different connections.  I'm using the Android app with everything plugged in and charging.  The app is running on a Galaxy s7.  I've tried a number of times over an extended period and the only result I'm getting is frustration.
