Hi,
I applied for Partner API access for my company several months ago, but haven't recieved a response. We are simply looking for a way to access single-day step counts for all friends of an account. Is this possible outside of the Partner API? This is in support of building a little social competition for conferences that usually last 1-3 days. The 7-day rolling count doesn't align well. Thank you.

The Partner API does not enable that, it enables minute level granularity for users who have authorized your application.
I recommend that you have a public facing web site where users can authorize your application and participate. You would be able to easily get their steps counts per day and for the last 7 days after they authorize your app.

Hello Dan,
I submitted a request for Partner API access back on December 16th, 2014 and have still received no word.
I responded to the automated emails as instructed to get this information a few times now but have yet to receive a response.
Could you help? I can PM you with the case # if you need it.
Thanks!
Kai
