I've seen that the new OAuth 2 features, and the intra-day heart rate information can be requested by 3rd party apps:
https://dev.fitbit.com/docs/heart-rate/#get-heart-rate-intraday-time-series
I intend to make a small and sweet little subdomain site, called "HeartCell" that enables someone to download their heartrate data in Excel format, so they can make charts or whatever else they have in mind.
The problem is - I see the heartrate data on Fitbit itself may be a premium feature, and creating something like this as a 3rd party may get me in trouble?
It's open source, and free, no adverts.
I hope those of you who want your raw heart data will be happy with it!

I notice there's no high resolution heart rate export option on the Fitbit data export page.
Before I re-invent the wheel, is there a .Net example for grabbing a users intraday heartrate for export into Excel?
If not - I'm off to learn about OAuth 2, and will hopefully get something running.
It'll be free to use if you end up wanting a copy. Just think... lovely Excel charts going back months! =D
We can show our kids... "And this peak was when I fell off the boat on holiday!"

I'll be setting up a download for this using a new little web-app I'll be writing over the next few weeks.
It'll export your heartrate to Excel for lovely graphical charts...
