Hello
This is a question about my customer's data.
In my system, I aggregate the number of steps for each user.
Regarding the data obtained with the endpoint below, I understand that activities-steps returns the total value for the day, and activities-steps-intraday returns the value for each minute.
URL: /1/user/[user_id]/activities/steps/date/[date]/1d.json
However, even when the activities-steps-intraday value was added up, there was a big difference with the activities-steps value.
Why is there a difference in the values for these data?
Also, which should I use to know the exact number of steps, activities-steps or activities-steps-intraday?
Thank you in advance.

Hi @Guy_ Thank you for providing the information.
If you know, please let me know.
Which figure is closer to the actual situation, activities-steps or activities-steps-intraday?
My personal opinion is that activities-steps is a daily aggregation, while activities-steps-intraday is closer to the raw data, so I think I should refer to the activities-steps-intraday figure.

Hi @IncaFitbit Thank you for providing the information.
I now understand the difference in specifications between activities-steps and activities-steps-intraday.
If you know, please let me know.
The Fitbit app has a screen that displays the number of steps by granularity, such as daily or weekly, but am I correct in understanding that the number of steps by day is the number of activities-steps-intraday, and the number of steps by week is the number of activities-steps?
