Hi
We are quite new with this Fitbit API and we are looking at options to achieve what we are going to do.
My questions:
* We are utilising the FitBit Alta XR as measuring the steps and heart rate but then instead of using the Fitbit app on the iPhone/Android device we have our own app already and would like to integrate with that. Basically, our app will read data from the FitBit device. Similar concept like your app ie. pairing for recognising the device and get the data and send to our server via our mobile app. Is this possible? Any pointer for this?
I'm appreciated your feedback.
Thank you

Hi @dcpartners
We don't have a method for you to pull the data directly from the Alta HR. Instead, your application should use the Web APIs to pull the data from our servers once the user has sync'd their data with the Fitbit mobile application.
If you want to pull the data directly from a Fitbit device, then you can build an application for one of the smart watches (i.e. Ionic or Versa Family) using the Device SDK.
