You can check http://status.fitbit.com/ to see if there is an issue in production if all of your API requests are failing.

We are still receiving a lot of errors from Fitbit.
Http Status Description: Internal Server Error
HTTP Content:{"errors":[{"errorType":"request","fieldName":"n/a","message":"org.hibernate.exception.GenericJDBCException: Cannot open connection"}],"success":false}
Any update about this?

From my PC: "
Oh no! We found a problem!
Server appears to be busy at the moment. Please try again later."
From Android app: "Fitbit.com is down for maintenance". I tried killing the app, rebooting the phone, uninstalling/reinstalling the app. Nothing works.
Fitbit, please fix your software!
Doug

I like the *concept* of http://status.fitbit.com but if the website is wrong then it serves no purpose.

@dugpatrick: If the error message says the site is down for maintenance, restarting your phone or app is not going to solve the problem because the Fitbit site is unavailable.
The status site is meant for API developers and it has been updated.

What is it with the server? I seem to be having this problem daily where I can't synch my One because the server isn't available and Fitbit.com doesn't work either....the device is largely useless if it can't be synched or connected....
