I am creating an android healthcare application for a Bsc Honours Computer Science research project, I would like my application to be able to get access to the continous intra heart rate data from a FitBit HR, this is all for research purposes. I have looked at the information from the following link: http://quantifiedself.com/2014/09/download-minute-fitbit-data/
Is there a way i can be able to get access the continous intra day heart rate data ?

According to the Fitbit Partner API documentation and other forum posts any research projects should look into http://www.fitabase.com/ first.
https://wiki.fitbit.com/display/API/Fitbit+Partner+API
The minute level HR data isn't available yet, but it should be sometime this month.
I think a lot of people, including myself, are waiting on the HR data API and application status for the Partner API.
You can apply at api@fitbit.com for Partner API access, they should send you a case number sometime after that, then I think there is some kind of approval process.

Thanks derekm, I have been communicating with the people from Fitabase, however I'm not sure how fruitfull its going to be. Do you have any recommendations or other websites I can look into. The research application I want to develop needs to have a reasoning engine, that is the reason I need the minute by minute data.
