How to get a list of all the days that contain a user's recorded activity data.

I'm working on an app that displays a user's Fitbit activity data. We'd like the app to be able to show a drop down calendar list that highlights all of the dates that the user has worn their Fitbit/recorded activity data on. Is there a way to query for this without retrieving massive amounts of activity data?
