Insufficient permissions for Activity scope (this randomly started happening...)

Hey everyone,

 

For some reason, I am getting a 403 HTTP status (Forbidden) on all of my activity requests. The response body says: API client is not authorized by the resource owner to access the resource requested

 

This is just a basic request to get the step count for the current day, and it was working perfectly a few days ago. This is unusual, because we have:

  • Valid access/bearer token
  • Permission granted for activity scope

I have revoked permission to the app in my Fitbit customer account and re-completed the authorization process, however the problem persists. Other API calls with different scope (e.g., Profile) still work fine.

 

Is anyone else experiencing this?
