New devices names out of date in API documentation

ANSWERED

Hello,

We have an application running that consume Fitbit API and we have a routine that maps the deviceVersion that API-Get-Devices returns to show the user the connected devices he/she owns.

The documentation seems to be out of date as the deviceVersion for Fitbit Charge, Fitbit Charge HR and Fitbit Surge are not displayed.

Could you please provide this information?

Thanks,

The documentation has been updated. It's safe to assume that any released Fitbit product will be returned by this endpoint.

I just checked on my devices and the API returns, surprisingly:

  • Charge
  • Charge HR
  • Surge
