a Fitbit device will sync to the user's Fitbit app every15 minutes as long as it is within range of the mobile device.

 

Can it be cancelled？

Welcome to the forums!

 

A background sync cannot be cancelled through the APIs. Only the user has control of how their device syncs to the app. For example, if the user chooses not to allow the Fitbit app to run in the background, syncing will not occur until the next time the user reopens the Fitbit app. There currently is no setting within the app to disable background syncing.
