The difference in step counts between my fitbit app and the web version

Hello! I have developed a web application that receives data from a fitbit. I noticed that for some reason my app shows less steps than the fitbit app. Later, I went to the fitbit web version and saw that it also showed fewer steps than the fitbit app. I also checked the last sync, it usually happens once every 60 min. that is, the reason is not in the frequency of data transmission, but in something else. Perhaps you have met something similar.

Hi @Oliver-UA - it can possibly be due to delays with multiple inputs.

On the off chance did you check in the Fitbit App device page (Connected to) if you also have the phone connected to your account and if so remove it?

Thanks for the answer! As it turned out, the reason was that in the app on the phone, Fitbit also collected information from Google Fit, and because of this, there were more steps in the app than in the web version, which displayed only the data collected by Fitbit.
