community fit bit

Dear I have 10 fitbits of different 10 users and they all authorize me to collect their data to a dedicated platform and to classify and generete alerts and system roules for all. I would like to know, please, it is possible to have a unique and common authentication system for everyone once?

I wonder if it exists an authorization system that authorizes each user only once just in the beginning  because there could be difficulties in going further and using the technology. This is valid for old people who are not familiar with technology

thanks

Hi @gutabbia,

Welcome to the forums!

The Web API uses the industry-standard Oauth 2.0 spec to obtain consent from users.

You can choose if you want to authorize your users through the Authorization Code Grant Flow (more secure) or the Implicit Grant Flow. I think you're also asking if it is possible to authorize users all at once, or for them. There isn't a way to auto authorize users in bulk, unfortunately. Each user will need to go through the authorization process and consent to share their data with your application. If your user base one that needs assistance with authorizing your application, it may be best that you recommend they have someone with them to guide them through the authorization flow.

Hope this answers your questions. If you need additional clarification, please let me know.
