extracting interbeat inervals

Hello,

I am a researcher using wearables. I had a few questions about Fitbit Sense 2:

  • Is there a way that I can access the interbeat intervals (from the PPG signal, the time between each new ventricular contraction) at a beat-to-beat time resolution? For example, is it possible to achieve this via a special setting, a Premium subscription, an API, or a third-party app you may know of?
  • If not at a beat-to-beat level, what is the highest time granularity I can achieve for heart period?

Hi @ms1358

The HRV intraday data set will give you some interbeat data in 5 minute increments.  See https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/intraday/get-hrv-intraday-by-date/.  The intraday data set will expose the heart rate in 1sec increments.  See https://dev.fitbit.com/build/reference/web-api/intraday/get-heartrate-intraday-by-date/.
