Does fitbit support oauth 2.0 yet?

Our use case is to access fitbit api with owner password credentials.

 

If fitbit does not support 2.0, is there any other option to make api call with owner credentials.

Please advise.

Fitbit does not support OAuth 2.0. We only offer OAuth 1.0 at this time.

 

There is no way to make API call with a user's username and password credentials. You must redirect the user through our web site for authentication.

is it not currently supported.

We plan to support it in future, no concrete estimations at this point though.
