In the documentation for this part it states that this needs to be set up ahead of time. 

 

Is there an API call to achieve this?  After the oauth has been completed?

Nope, there is no endpoint for creating subscriber endpoints. You should create api endpoint in you app settings page.

 Search for the "Add a subscriber" link at the verry bottom of edit settings page for your app on dev.fitbit.com
