It can be done

Four years ago, I took one step of what I thought was a single journey. I had spent most of my life amidst a mix of great confusion yet deep understanding of things. After all, at four years old, I figured out the depths of the solar system to the smallest fraction. Fast forward a handful of decades later. I found my way through a maze of train stations to Falkenberg, Sweden. I was wearly happy to arrive after a long flight and little sleep in a small corner of Stockholm. I awoke the next morning to be engrossed in a small, clean European town with nature abound. My senses were tickled with the smell of just bloomed flowers dancing hazily among the serenly woven grass. The brook hummed a peaceful tune which granted me unlimited respite. I dined with fountains, I walked among the painted vehicles that blurred in the background. I found my feet planted in the sheer curosity among the towns delights. Something had changed. I came back home bound and determined. One step to six miles in the morning and one step to five miles in the evening. My daily journeys included brief visits from cardinals and blue jays and deep, tough questions contiplated on woodly divinity found in the various paths. First, went twenty pounds off my considerable frame -- then went my auto For you see, it sat nervously and alone often in the painted prison. What I thought was a single step journey became a discovery of self. All the things that previously had no reason, all the things I did but I could not explain were slowly answered for me. I continued each step for over 8,000 miles and now stand quite lighter prehaps 132 pounds smaller. The wisdom of this tale is the true journey is never the beginning or end - it is the diffcult steps in the middle that splash the hue on the unwritten pages of the future.
