I love my little Zip but the silicone clip/case is no longer with me (metal part broke through the silicone) so I put the Zip in my pocket most days and that works just fine. Today at an exercise class it fell out of my shorts and I stuck it into my bra. It didn't record my steps after that and the screen went blank. Thanks to the forum I cleaned the contacts w/alcohol and installed a new battery so I'm back in business. I'm wondering if there is a problem wearing the Zip inside my bra - is there a problem with sweat, skin contact? And - what is a "normal" length of time a battery should last? Thank you

A warm welcome to our new friend @SpringInMyStep! Thanks for joining us! Your Fitbit Zip is most accurate when worn on or very close to the body. A shirt pocket, bra, pants pocket, belt, or waistband are all ideal places to wear your Zip. Try out a few different locations to see what is most comfortable and secure for you.
The Zip is not designed to be worn in direct contact with the skin. Always use the silicone holder when clipping it to a bra or waistband, with the display facing outward. Do not wear the Zip inside your bra. This is why I'd agree with @MakMak's post that you can purchase a new belt holder so you don't experience any issues with your Zip.
Hope this is useful and have a great day!

You can buy replacement cases for the Zip (https://www.fitbit.com/store#accessories). If your tracker is still under warranty, I would suggest also getting in touch with Fitbit Support, they might be able to do something for you.
