Changed battery but my steps from yesterday are included in today's

My battery for my zip was dying so I changed it this morning. I synced it before doing this. After I changed the battery I synced it to my iPhone again but it is recording yesterday's steps with today. How can I fix this?

Never mind it just reset itself and is working fine now. Not sure why there was a delay for this though
