Why does my Zip change the distance I've walked from the end of my walk to when I get in the house (maybe 10 yards)?

Hello @Cacti, thanks for joining us, it's great to have you on board!

If you notice a big discrepancy on the distance your Zip is measuring I would like to suggest performing an accuracy test. To perform the test you will first need to restart your tracker:

To restart your tracker:

  1. Open the battery door using the battery door tool and remove the battery.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Place the battery back into the tracker with the “+” side facing up, and close the door.

After restarting:

  1. Put you tracker on your hip or torso and check how many steps you have.
  2. Walk 100 steps, making sure to count a step each time one of your feet hits the ground.
  3. Pause, then check your tracker to see your step count.

If your tracker counted less than 100 steps or more than 100, my best recommendation would be contacting our Support Team. Let them know about the test you've performed, I'm sure they will be more than happy to get you back on track.

Give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink
