My Fitbit tracker was working all day. But it would not sync. Tonight I followed the steps to remove the battery and restart my fit bit. When I did that I got the 586 error message and the fit bit went back to 230 in the afternoon and erased any steps I had from 230 to 10 o'clock. It is not currently tracking at all. I saw others have had this problem but their solutions are not helping me. My tracker also showed low battery all day. But my dashboard did not. It said my battery was full. Which makes sense because I just change the battery in a couple weeks ago.

Welcome to the Community @Mo17! It happens that sometimes the tracker's battery is not making good contact as consequence it starts acting up. I recommend following these instructions. It should fix the problem you're having with it. If after that the issue persists, please be sure to reach out to our Support Team. I know that they're always happy to listen to your experience and provide different options for you, if needed!

I hope this helps. Keep me posted.
