Fit Bit Zip reset

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I had to change the battery in my FitBit zip a few days ago and now it will not reset at midnight.  The internal clock is about 90 minutes behind also.  I am not sure what to do.  I tried to reset again but removing the battery, waiting for 10 seconds, and inserting it again.  It still does not reset correctly.  I have to track points daily so I need to get this corrected.

Sync of your Zip should have fixed this. Have you checked your timezone?

Best Answer
It's not the time zone because it happened before the time change and it's
almost 90 minutes difference not 60. Resetting didn't change it either.
Thanks for the response though.

I'll rephrase my question, according to the app or the web dashboard, when was the last time your Zip had a successful sync?

Best Answer
A few weeks ago. I can't get it to sync anymore. I don't really need to
have it sync but just need to know my steps each day and I chart elsewhere
to keep track for my job.

Awesome help @Rich_Laue! 😉 Nice to see you here @SheilaDS! @Rich_Laue Kindly suggested you to sync your tracker in order to fix your clock. Once you fix your timezone setting on the system and sync your tracker will reflect this change. If you have any issue syncing your tracker, please follow this post on how to fix syncing issues

Catch you later! 😉
