I just downloaded the app this week, so it should be current. I can walk 2000+ steps at a time and still show no active minutes. I look on my phone and the computer both, same thing. How do I fix this?

Active minutes are a very confusing aspect of fitbit. They don't mean that you were active for those minutes but that you were very, very active for those minutes. Perhaps you were simply not walking fast enough for your walk to count. There's more information on this here:
