Fitbit Zip

I purchased a Fitbit zip for my husband TODAY. And the battery is already dead? The battery symbol with a slash through it is showing up and he's had it for less than 8hrs.

 

How can we fix this? Buying a new battery doesn't seem right considering we just purchased it. 

 

We got this one in particular because he can't wear watches at work.

It's hard to tell how long that Zip has been sitting there waiting for someone to purchase and set it up. Try a restart of the device, which is removing the battery for about a minute, then reinstalling it.

 

You might want to try another battery to be sure that is the problem.

 

Customer support is only a phone call or email away, should you need them.
