Welcome to our Community @eandrews511! It's great having you here! Please know that sometimes the side spring may be bent as a result of improper battery insertion or pressure being applied to the back housing. Please verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. The process can be followed here. After doing this please try syncing your tracker with your iOS device to see if your steps are corrected.
Hope this helps, let me know if it works!

Hi
This suggestion didn't work for me. The battery currently has a full charge and it's mounted correctly. Over the past 2 years, this Zip has performed 100%! However, as of last night, all it showed for my day's activity was a smile and 0.0 miles. The info for steps and calories burned doesn't show at all. I was working yesterday, so I know there would be something showing. This is the first time something like this has happened.
When I tried this morning to sync the Zip via my PC, my PC couldn't find it. Does this mean my Zip is broken; after only 2 years!?! Can you help?

Do not see a reply and same happend to my fit bit...0 steps, even when adding event from 12am to 1159pm and record shows 23:59 hrs steps are zero. What's up with that? Is the original fitbit flex no longer supported by fitbit?

Hi there guys @cplot49 @fitbietracker! Good to see you in the Community! 😄
I'm sorry you're having problems with this @fitbietracker. It's a great suggestion the one @cplot49 provided! I can also add that when you take off the battery, you will notice a metal spring in the middel. Make sure to lift it up just a little bit with your finger to make sure that the battery will not be loose inside the tracker when putting the back cover on and see how it goes.
Let us know if you need more help with this!

Any other suggestions for a Flex fitbit tracker, which is rechargeable but does not appear ot have a removable battery with the wire described. After parking in a drawer for a month, recharged tracker to 5 full dots last weekend and it tracked through Tuesday but ran out of juice thereafter. Took 5 attempts to sync today, tyring with both via usb devise and moble.
