The Fitbit zip tracked 29,000 steps while I slept. Is there a way to reset the day?

Hi @Rebeccabergey1 welcome to the Community! For what you are telling me, it looks like your Zip didn't reset itself at midnight, so that is why you wake up with the same amount you ended the previous day. But don't worry, let suggest you to restart your Fitbit Zip, by doing the following:

1. Open the battery door using the battery door tool and remove the battery.
2. Wait 10 seconds.
3. Place the battery back into the tracker with the "+" side facing up, and close the door.

After that please sync your Fitbit.

Let me know if it is working fine or not. I'll be around. Woman Wink

Let me know how it goes! Have a great day. Smiley Wink
