Glass cracked on Zip

My Zip developed a hairline horizontal crack on the "glass" about 3 weeks ago (probably from rolling on the floor during one of the 19 fitness classes I teach every week). And today it just froze after 5,000 steps. I removed the battery and pressed from the inside toward the surface. I reinstalled the battery and it is working again. I suspect this will happen again. However, I do wear it all of the time that I am awake and if it fails entirely I still consider it a good investment - it worked flawlessly for 8 months. I just wish I could get credit for the 7,000 steps I lost during the day 🙂 If it does end up in Fitbit heaven I will replace with another Zip. I like the simple Zip and it gives me all of the data I need.

You can log those steps as a walk manually, so you don't lose them. They won't count in challenges, but they would count for your daily step goal.
