How to fix the time?

I replaced my battery and now the time is incorrect and in the middle of the afternoon it reset.  How do I set the time to get this to work right again?

Thanks for sharing your experience with Fitbit Zip and for trying those steps. Next time you notice that issue, check if the little metal contacts on the back of of your Zip are well positioned; you can check some helpful information in this post. Also, check if the back is clean and that the battery door is not broken or loose. Other tips:

 

  • Place the battery back into the tracker with the "+" side facing up, and close the door.
  • Buy a 3V coin battery, CR2025.
  • Try to sync to fix the issue with the time that you mentioned.
