Incorrect time after battery change

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I changed my battery at 5pm today and did it within the 10 seconds so I did not lose my 11K steps. Then about 2 hours later it showed I only had 200 steps and it is 90 minutes ahead of time. I'm afraid if I synch it again I will lose all my steps today . Please help! on my dashboard it shows the right time but on my zip it is 90 minutes off.

Welcome to the Forums @janiebd! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip tracker. Please keep in mind that data could be lost if your tracker is not synced before replacing the battery.

If some steps are missing, you can manually log tour activity. To do so, take a look at this post. This may be fixed by updating the time zone setting in your Personal Settings. For step-by-step instructions, please see our help article How do I change the time on my Fitbit device?

If your time zone setting is correct, simply sync your tracker to see the current time. For more information about syncing, see How do Fitbit devices sync their data?

I hope this helps, keep me posted! 😉
