Is the Zip still available? It was not listed in the sale
Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity
Best AnswerHi @janicesch . The Zip was retired and the Inspire (with optional clip) is what most Zip users have bought when they wanted a new Fitbit. There are some places selling the Zip, but last time I looked, Amazon's price was close to $200. Check out the Inspire and see what you think, Lots of sales going on now.
Best AnswerI'd worry that you won't be able to use one you buy on ebay or Amazon. I pulled an old one out of a drawer after I gave mine to my husband. The one in the drawer won't sync with my phone and if I try to download software to sync it on my computer the software doesn't include the Zip so that won't work either.
I spent alot of time on the phone with customer service and the best they could do is offer me a 25% off coupon that will work with some of the present products. The CS rep could not tell me if it's good for the Inspire, which can be worn with a clip ($20 extra).
I really don't need all my activity and sleep habits out there so I think I'm done with Fitbit.
Best AnswerHi @crewer if you don't know the seller is authorized, it's always best to pass on the item. I can't see buying a Zip for close to $200. As for the 25% discount, it usually is for a similar device. The Inspire is a solid little device and the clip makes it that much sweeter for those who loved the Zip. It can't hurt to try it.
Best Answer@janicesch I bought a brand new Zip from eBay through a company in China for $25USD. I don't see it at that price but you can always set up a search on eBay with whatever you're interested in paying for it and eBay will email you when one's available for that price. Cheers!
Best Answer@Williger is it an authentic Zip? Wonder where they got them or if they are fake? Can you tell?
Best Answer@Odyssey13 I was skeptical due to the price but included packaging and appeared authentic and had no problem adding it to my Fitbit account, which I figured wouldn't have worked if it was fake. I'm assuming these must've been extras from where they were manufactured. In hindsight, I scored a great bargain! 🙂
