So yesterday I left my Fitbit Zip in a bathroom at my school and when I came back a few minutes later it was gone. I tried to find it through my app but the device wasn't even connected anymore. Does this mean that it's connected to another person's app? And is there any way to find my tracker? I was thinking I could try to use "Set Up a Device" and search for any Fitbit Zip but that would mean searching all over the school and I don't even know if this search would work if it were synced to someone's phone. If it really were stolen I also don't know that they would bring it back to school.
I tried to customer support but the best they could do was offer me a discount on any item I'd like to buy.
Any help would be appreciated!

Hi @Kate_C, it's great to see new members around! Oh I'm sorry to hear that your Fitbit Zip got lost. I can see that you tried to locate your Fitbit by syncing with the mobile app, which is the tips that I would suggest to try to find it.. however as you mentioned, if the tracker is already paired to another Fitbit account is not gonna be possible to find it anymore.
On the other side, as far as I know, Customer Support can give you a 25% discount for you to purchase any other tracker through Fitbit.com/store. I suggest you to get in touch with them again, I believe that the discount is a good option to get you back on track.
Let me know how it goes!

I actually have a very similar problem, I can't find mine anywhere! A friend told me that we could get a replacement zip for free if it is within the first year, is that true? If we just get a 25% discount that is nice, but it may be a while before I can get one.
Thanks- Jenni

Hi there @JLD89 it's great to see ya around! By any chance have you already tried to locate your Zip by syncing with your mobile device? If you haven't I suggest you to follow these tips to do it.
However if after follow those steps, you still unable to find it, as you mentioned, Fitbit Support can give you a 25% discount for you to purchase any other tracker through the Fitbit Store, 'cause as far as I know, the warranty doesn't cover lost trackers.
I hope that info helps and you get back on track very soon!
