Hello,
I owed a fitbit zip last year, but lost it around August. I recently purchased a replacement, and after I did the intial set up, the device said it can't sync with my phone because the location settings were turned off.
Is there a way for me to disable this? I never had to have location settings turned on with my last fitbit and it's really annoying.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hello there @rick1574, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Indeed, this is the first time I heard something like this. My recommendation if the issue persist, is to reboot your phone and set up your tracker as a new device on your existing account. Or you can go to your "Google settings" on your phone and search for the option "Location" here should appear all the apps that require to have access to your location. However note that Fitbit app does not require of this service. If the issue persist can you share a screenshot to know more about this problem? So we can investigate with my teammates.
Keep me posted how it goes, I'll be around.
