Hello,

Does Fitbit collect location data on people who use Zips (i.e., devices without GPS or connected GPS)? I understand that turning on location before syncing is mandatory for Android users due to the operating system update; however, I was curious as to if Fitbit legally can and/or does collect location data if GPS services are not being used. Thank you.

I guess they legally can as we have to accept the terms and grant permissions to use the app. I have seen posts in the community where people have shown that although they can collect location data, they don't. Somewhere in the settings it show what apps have requested location data and fitbit doesn't show.
