Hi all!
So I average about 14 000 steps on the days I go on a 4-5 mile walk plus daily work and just walking around the house.
I only started using my Fitbit Tuesday this week though so I am pretty new.
Today I went horseriding for about an hour and fitbit obviously went crazy and thought I was out walking and logged about 5000+ steps on its own and I manually logged it in as horseback riding on my computer and it did delete the steps!
And I decided to go for a small walk to reach my daily goal of 10 000 steps!
And now I've been driving around the car and again, fitbit obviously logged steps on its own so I thought I manually log it as driving thinking it would delete steps but it didn't!!
So I am currently up in 17 000 steps when I should really only have done around 10 000 as I've not been as active as the past few days so it's counting how many calories I should be eating wrong as well as it thinks I've done more steps than I have!
I hope you guys understand what I mean! Just wondering about this logging the car journeys etc....
And wheres the best place to put your fitbit to be the most accurate, atm I have it stuck to the lining of my jeans pocket... (While horse riding it was on my bra)
Thank you!!

Hey there @Ju91 it's great to see you here! I see your point, with the Fitbit Zip is normal that some steps are added while driving since it is clip based, however there is a way you can log your "Driving" activity and it will also delete the extra steps just like the activity you logged for horseriding.
Please take a few minutes to check this link that will provide the steps to follow in order to have the false tracked information removed from your daily totals.
In regards how to wear your Zip, checkout this link 😉
Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!
