Losing steps when battery dies, though account still says I have full battery

My Zip Tracker goes from 100% battery to 0% battery without any warning and then I loose my steps for the day.  I have tried getting data as suggested on computer, iphone and tablet -- all turning bluetooth off and then back on.  This has happened to me 3 times this year --- it is very frustrating as even when I manually enter steps, it is not reflected in various weekly challenges I participate in.   Please fit the data transfer issue with low battery, as well as the low battery indicator to be accurate.   thanks!

Have you cleaned the contacts with isopropyl alcohol, @Mngal2001?

Also check the contacts

As for the app it will only know the battery level during the last successful sync
