My wife lost her FitBit Zip 9 days ago. We bought an Alta to replace it, but would like to find the Zip. She was working outside in our 2 acre yard and it fell out of the holder. So it is a large area and span of time. It was last synched 5 days earlier.
I understand they go to sleep after a period of inactivity. Do I need to wake it before using Bit-Finder Geo or Bluetooth Finder? Can I do that by walking around trying to synch it? If not, is there any way to wake it without knowing where it is?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Grandpa_Marty, if you haven't donde so already, make sure to check all these steps to find a lost tracker.
As far as I know, you should be able to find the tracker with the Bluetooth Finder either way, but it would not be possible to wake it without finding the device. If you still don't find the tracker after all these steps, you can contact the Customer Support team to check if there's anything else they can do to help you. I hope this helps.
