My zip is not counting steps correctly. When I went to bed last night (around 1am, it said 400+ steps. I synced around 5pm after running around all day and it said 8 steps. Anyway to fix this? Or is it toast?

Hello @Zannesjams, welcome aboard to our Community. It sounds like a similar case from other user. Try to review if the battery is making proper contact. Most of the times when all of a sudden the step count reset on its own is because the battery is losing connection.

verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. Take as a reference the post from @Rich_Laue for additional help.

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.
