So about an hour or more ago I walked into my house, looked at my zip and say 9100 steps. Been moving around, doing chores. Came in, sat down to sync and GONE. Says 0 "zero" steps for today .
SO I look at yesterday. Nothing. Day before... Nothing. In fact the last time if showed any steps was Saturday!!
What went wrong? or is going wrong.

Hello @cinderbay,
Welcome to the community!
Is there any chance that you allowed the battery to expire (say on Saturday) and recently replaced it?
Fitbits behave like wall clocks when it comes to keeping time. They'll continue to keep time happily until their battery runs out, once they have power again they continue to keep time where they left off. So it gave you credit for the steps, but on the wrong day.
The best way to avoid this is to simply sync immediately after you replace the battery.
I hope this helps.

Hi there @cinderbay, it been a while since you posted and @PureEvil is correct about the battery.
Other possible cause that I can think is the battery is loosing connection. Sometimes the side spring may be bent as a result of improper battery insertion or pressure being applied to the back housing. Please verify that there is proper contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing. If you need an example please take a look at this post from @Rich_Laue.
Let us know how it goes so far and if you need more help. I'll be around.
