Pairing rejected Zip and Galaxy S7

Just purchased a Zip.  It syncs with the Fitbit app on my Galaxy S7 and works good but it will not pair with the S7. Phone displays "Pairing rejected by Zip"  Is this normal or do I need to do something?

Welcome to the Community @Loadco! Thanks for sharing your experience with your Zip. To make sure that your tracker is working correctly, please restart your Zip.

To better assist you, I have a couple of questions:

  • Are you seeing this error message on the Fitbit app?
  • Are you seeing this error message on the Bluetooth settings of your phone?

I look forward for your reply! 🙂

I have tried resetting the Zip.  The error message is on the phone when you attempt to pair with the Zip

Thanks for the reply @Loadco! If your Zip tracker is showing on the upper top right side of your app, this means that your tracker is currently paired to your Fitbit Account.

Since your Zip don't have notifications, you don't need to pair your tracker by going to the Bluetooth settings of your phone and pair it again. I hope this helps to clarify.

Keep me posted! 🙂
