I joined a challenge "daily Showdown" I went out for a walk and tracked it by pressing "Track your exercise on my phone .I also wore my fitbit Zip.I did over 6,000 steps and they were added to my daily total which took me over the 10,000 I was aiming for. However the total steps on my zip did not match the total steps on the challenge there was nearly 1,000 difference which meant I didnt come as high up the leader board than I should have.. Why was this surely the steps should match.

The same thing is happening to me today. I'm almost 1,000 steps behind on my daily challenge. I'm still in the lead but only by 500 steps. is there any ways to add the steps to my challenge?

Hi! Here's a quick fix - you can quit the challenge and ask to be invited again 🙂

I am currently in a weekly challenge, with people in the same time zone as me, and I have never logged any steps manually! Yet my dashboard shows weekly steps so far of 24,971 whereas my challenge only shows 21,083 (-3888 steps!!!!) this is not solved.... Please give a valid reason as to why on Monday 13th June at around 10pm uk time, the challenge stopped syncing and lost steps from that day which were clearly visible on my dashboard. Any apps I use to record my distance (map my run for instance) are not linked to my zip. #unhappycustomer

I'm having the same issue and still have yet to find any kind of solution to the problem on any of the multiple threads I've found on here regarding this issue. My Charge HR dashboard is showing about 2,000 more steps than I'm getting credit for in the Workweek Hustle challenge I was invited to. And no, I'm not manually logging any steps, my battery is full, and the creator of the challenge is only one hour difference in time zone. I don't understand how that would matter anyways as we are in the very beginning of the challenge week so I don't see why my steps would be affected at this point. This is super discouraging and annoying. Looking at the discussion threads, it looks like this issue dates back at least one year ago and Fitbit still hasn't fixed the issue? Really disappointing.
