In the last few days my Zip is now calculating about 10% lower steps than normal. I do a 2.6 mile run in the a.m. and it normally reads around 4300 steps (38.3 inches/step while running). Now it is reading around 3600 steps for the same distance. Stride length has not been changed. Battery is ok and have not done anything to it. Any clues?

Hi @rpband - Since you are confident that your stride length is not an issue, and since your Zip was accurate until a few days ago, please try a restart. See below.

I followed the instructions you sent me and reset my Zip. On my run this a.m. I got the same low count on my steps. What else could be wrong?
