Since I've been keeping track, 1st battery lasted 4 months, 2nd one 5 months, 3rd one 4 months, 4th one 4 months, and the last one only 32 days. I only synch to my computer about once or twice a week. Any suggestions?
It sounds like you got a bad battery.
You can buy packages of 20 Sony batteries on Amazon for about $7.00 including shipping.

Thanks for joining us and for troubleshooting this beforehand @SunsetRunner. Great suggestion @GershonSurge!
That's a good advice! You can also verify the correct contact between the battery and the battery contacts inside your Zip tracker. You can do this by opening the battery door of your Zip, removing your battery, and ensuring that the silver battery tab located in the lower right half of your tracker is flush with the white box outline in the tracker housing.
I would also recommend checking the metal spring inside the Zip's battery compartment. Sometimes your tracker will have battery issues when this is bent. Here is a picture of how it should look like:
Hope this helps, keep me posted.

I received my Zip on September 4, and the battery died on October 11, less than 40 days later. Seriously? Still find it hard to believe that Fitbit doesn’t offer a decent clip-on tracker. Worst customer concern of any company, ever.
