Got up this morning, put on my zip as usual and went about my morning routine. When I looked at the zip the screen was black. I took out the battery and inserted a new one. The zip is on, shows the correct time but everything is at "0" - doesn't record steps, everything is at 0. I took the battery out, waited 10/15 seconds, reinstalled the battery, didn't help. Any suggestions? I've had the zip for 2 or so years and it's never given me any problem before. Thanks.

HI there @klmontz, good to see you around. By taking out the battery it might caused a restart, but this shouldn't remove any of your steps. If the screen was blank when you start your routine, it will explain why your tracker was not reading any of your steps, in this case there is not too much we can do since the information cannot be recovered; at least from your tracker.
What you can do instead is enter a manual activity on your exercise history to have an average of your step count. If you need additional help with manual activities please take a look at this other post.
