Zip is showing too many miles on device

My new Zip is only showing calories on the dashboard. I have tried all suggestions, no option for distance each day shows up.  On the device itself, I have it set to miles but it is showing way too many, eg, today it is showing over 20 miles and I have only done around 11.  I have tried resyncing, restarting etc and now it won't even pair.  The calorie count is excessive too.  Thanks.

What do you mean "new Zip"? It was discontinued over 6 years ago.....
