Zip not resetting at midnight, tried manual reset, driving activity, etc.

My Zip did not reset last night.  Started today with 18268 steps.  Have tried manual reset of the tracker 3 times now.  Have also entered a driving activity for 11:00 yesterday evening to 7:00 this morning.  Problem is, if you look at my activity during that time, it's zero because I was asleep.  The 18268 steps I started with today doesn't show up in the log, so I can't use a driving activity to wipe it out.  If I use a driving activity to wipe out yesterday's steps, equal to what I started today with, then yesterday's activity is zero, which isn't what I want to do.  Is there another way to delete the 18268 steps that mysteriously appeared at the start of my day today?

Welcome to the Community @AndyFB! Thanks for the procedure that you've done. So, if your Zip is showing the activity but the data didn't sync to your Dashboard then you don't need to delete anything. If you're seeing 18,268 steps on Sunday and you actually didn't do those steps. Then you need to log driving to delete this data.

Can you provide me with a screenshot of what you're seeing in your Dashboard? Are you still seeing wrong information on your account?

It took two days, but my zip and my dashboard are now displaying the
correct data, with no apparent action on my part. Both the zip and the
dashboard were in sync the entire time, first displaying the incorrect
data, then updating to the correct data. I will be marking this post as
solved, even though I have no idea what action solved it. Thanks
@SilviaFitbit for the followup.
