Since I did the latest software update my zip wont sync unless I take the battery out to reset it

Exact same issue here and I noticed others with the complaint

I'm not sure what phones you are all having bb problems with, there are reports of sync issues with the latest Android app.
Clearing the Fitbit app cache or data seems to help.
While not ideal if restarting the tracker works this would be an option. I would rather not play to much with the battery for and try steps with the app.

Be nice if you could simply find the previous, working software version and reinstall that. Don't know how you find that version though
