Zip won't sync

My zip will not sync with  Dashboard unless I remove the battery and re-insert it each day.  This is a pain.  Why won't  it sync?

I have a Android Samsung Galaxy S8 and haven't been able to sync since having a system upgrade without taking the battery out of the Zip.

I just chatted with Fitbit support. They had me turn off Bluetooth then go to Settings/App/Fitbit/Storage/clear cache - turn off phone - power on - turn on Bluetooth then go to Fitbit app and force sync. I worked for me.

Vcalvert67:     I have the same phone that you have and I tried this procedure several times and it still does not sync.  I went through all the steps as you described except I did not see a "Force Sync" prompt.  Thank you.

In the Fit Bit app on your phone you should see in the upper right corner a
graphic that shows battery power (green). Click it. On the screen it opens
click SYNC NOW. You should see a swirling circle indicating it is trying to
sync.

Thanks for your help but I tried again several times and it still won't sync.  I will call tech support.

Having same problem with no sync since phone software update.  If you learn any solution, please share.  TIA

I called FitBit tech support and they walked me through some steps for a solution but that did not work either.  I will have to call them back.
