Deleting the German guy's (Richmaker) question wasn't too helpful. He described the symptoms of a loose battery. He was already on his second tracker. Me and google were going to say: Die Batterie eines Zip ist oft lose. Wenn die Batterie gewechselt wird, wird die Verbindung gebogen.

Hi, @SunsetRunner, we should have had you around earlier!  But I am guessing that the Deutche question wasn't deleted -- probably just moved by a moderator to the German forum, where hopefully someone was able to help him.
