7 day step total not correct

My 7 day step total is not updating.  I have had over 10000 steps every day for the past 2 weeks but shows my weekly total where I can compare with my friends as 64000.

 

I have logged out, reset my Fitbit Alta HR, restarted my phone.  No change.

The step total on the friends list shows the total steps for today plus the previous 6 six days so I wonder if this could be correct. If you look at the total early in the day then you won't have many more steps than the total for the previous 6 days. If these were not much above 10,000 each then 64,000 in total doesn't sound too far out.
