Dear Fitbit,

I've had the Charge HR for a year and i love it! I specially love using the app that comes with it to track my fitness jouney. However, the one thing I would like to see imporved on the app is a better food logging diary. It's great that we can keep up with our calories but I think it would be much more benefitial if we could see macros as well (i.e protein, carbs, fat)! Hope to see that in one of the next updates of the app!

Thanks

Hello @pamelaaam, thanks for joining us, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It's nice to see you around too @Biker_BillSmiley Happy

@pamelaaam, at the moment it's only possible to track food macros when they're logged in through the online Dashboard:

However, I think having the ability to track them in the app as well is a terrific idea, which is why I went ahead and found a suggested feature by @aurrore to implement this feature in a future update. Please feel free to add your vote and comment to this idea, this is truly the best way to make your voice heard.

In the meantime, as @Biker_Bill suggested you can also check MyFitnessPal which can be linked with Fitbit to get another way to track your food and macros.

I hope this can be helpful, in case you need anything else please feel free to reply! Smiley Wink

You may want to check out the MyFitnessPal app. It connects with FitBit and has different interface designed for food tracking.

I use it it and found once you have a lot of your meals entered, it becomes very easy to use.

Hi @pamelaaam @Biker_Bill,

I just bought the Charge HR and I agree with you : it's great but I would like to see the macros in the app. Hopefully I've found another great app that I recommend you to track your macros. It's called Foodvisor and it's super easy and fun to use. All you have to do is take a picture of your food and it gives you the calories and macros in your plate (see screenshots below). I'm addicted to it! It doesn'talways guess the right food but you can modify easily and I think it makes it fun to track your diet 😉

I hope it helps !

I track all my macros on MyFitnessPal and then connect it to the Fitbit app.
